# Support

## From the app (fastest)

Help menu → **Send Feedback**, or Settings → Advanced → **Send Feedback**. This prefills your
RAAD version, macOS version, and which surfaces (MCP, sync) are enabled — you don't have to dig
that up yourself. There's an optional tickbox to attach a log excerpt, shown to you in a
scrollable preview before it's sent, so nothing leaves your Mac unseen.

**RAAD never attaches clip content, window titles, or app names to a feedback report.** That's
the same privacy promise the rest of the app makes, and it applies here too — see the
[security policy](/security-policy).

If sending fails (no network, or a bug in the sending itself), the sheet falls back to a
`mailto:` link so a bug report that can't be sent because of a bug isn't a dead end.

## Email

[hello@raad.app](mailto:hello@raad.app) — a person reads this, not a bot.

## Before you write in

Check [troubleshooting](/docs/troubleshooting) first — MCP client connection issues, the CLI
symlink, paste not working, and search not finding something are all covered there, and most
tickets turn out to be one of those.

## What to include

- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
- Your RAAD version (Settings → About) and macOS version.
- Whether MCP or sync is turned on.
- Steps to reproduce, if you have them — even approximate ones help.

You don't need to include a screenshot of the clip that triggered the bug unless it's directly
relevant and you're comfortable sharing it — describe the *shape* of the content (e.g. "a long
code block with emoji in it") where you can instead.
